How do I create my profile on SyrianTalent?

The first thing you need to do is Register with is and Verify your account. After you Login after verification, you will be instructed to complete your profile. You can edit your profile any time after logging in and selecting ‘Profile’ tab from the top corner of the page. 

What do I do if I never received an account verification email?

Sometimes the emails end up in Spam or Junk folder, so please check them, If still the problem not solved, feel free to contact us.

Why can’t I apply to jobs even after registering with your website?

That’s because your profile is still incomplete. After you are logged-in, click on profile and complete all the necessary information that any prospective employer needs. 

How can a professional CV writer review my profile & CV?

It’s very easy as all you have to do is click ‘Get help from a professional CV writer’ either from your dashboard or your profile page.

Why is it necessary to include my date of birth, nationality, current salary and other personal ines the completeness of your profile. The stronger your profile, better the visibility to potential employers. 

What if there’s a mistake in my profile while I’m applying for a job. Can I edit my application?

Job Profiles and Job Applications are LIVE, which enables you to edit youring your Privacy Settings. Click Your Name in the profile section on top right corner (after you are logged-in), Click ‘Privacy’ and in the privacy page, you have the option of hiding information such as Nationality, Salary, Date of Birth and other information. 

I want to block certain Companies and People from viewing my profile. Is it possible to Block them?

Companies normally view profiles of specific people who have applied to their jobs. However, this very feature at the moment is not available. 

Why do I have to provide my Social Media Profiles to you?

It’s completely optional and not necessary. Adding Social Media Profiles helps you stand apart from others. 

What is profile strength? What does it mean?

Profile Strength denotes the completeness of your profile. The stronger your profile, better the visibility to potential employers.

Job Profiles and Job Applications are LIVE, which enables you to edit your Profile anytime. Nay changes to your profile will automatically reflect on your Job Application. 

How to upload a video introduction? Why is Video Introduction important?

Login>Click ‘Profile’>Input Video link. Employers will be able to watch your video along with your other Profile information. A Video adds a realistic and personalised aspect to your profile and helps you stand apart from others in the market. Moreover, the employer can judge tour communication skills easily with a video upfront. 

How do I track my Job Application online?

With Syrian talent, this is very easy. Every Job Application information is available on your ‘Dashboard’ with updates based on the activity of the employer. 

What does ‘rejected’ Job Status mean?

This means your Job Application was not accepted by the Employer may be due to some pre-set filters or may b your profile did not match the job Role. 

If I follow a company or job poster, what happens?

If you follow a Company, you will get all the recent updates from that particular company or Employer as notifications or alerts. These notifications can be edited from ‘job alerts’ section from the profile page. 

How do I create ‘E-mail Alerts’? Can I edit the frequency of getting Job Alerts?

Log-In>Click ‘Job Alerts’. You can create Job Alerts based on the Company, Job role, experience, Skills and much more depending on your requirements. You can edit these ‘Job Alerts’ anytime you want from the section. 

Yes, you can change the frequency of Job alerts from the Job Alert page. Log-in>Click ‘Job Alerts’>Edit or Delete the Job Alert. 

How do I save Job Posts so that I can view them later?

You have the option for doing this either through the ‘Job Search’ page or while viewing the Job Post itself. You can access these saved jobs by clicking ‘Saved Jobs’ from the drop down menu at the top right-hand section of the Profile. 

Can I share a Job Post within my network?

We have provided ‘Share’ option with all of our job postings. Nevertheless, you are free to copy the link and share within your circle. 

What search filters are available while searching for jobs?

We have the options/filters for Job Seekers such as job role, job type, industry & date posted. You can deepen your search with aspects like Experience, Company, Salary scale and even job location. 

What does ‘source’ stand for in my applications? I see it listed in the dashboard!

Source means how the particular job was referred to you, which is – a. Self-search or b. Someone else referred to you. Each option is denoted for your records. 

Can I Communicate and Connect with other Job Seekers like me?

No. Unlike Social Media, we have maintained utmost confidentiality with respect to Job Seekers and their information.

What If I wish to Deleted my account or profile from your website?

We hope you are satisfied with SyrianTalent and never need to take such a step. However, this can be done by clicking ‘Account Settings’ from the drop-down menu appearing under your Profile Name.
